Our Lady Queen of Africa, Rubaga Girls’ S.S is the only Girls fully Boarding, O & A Level school in Rubaga division, located at the Seat of the Catholic church just opposite Rubaga Hospital. It was founded in 1967 by Kampala Archdiocese. The founders placed it in the safe and motherly hands the congregation of Bannabikira Sisters of Bwanda, (Daughters of Mary) to take charge of the school administration. Rubaga Girls’S.S is academically one of the best performing schools in the country and a star in Rubaga division. Known for its outstanding student discipline, excellent in music dance and drama plus games and sports. It has always represented the country in the All East Africa Secondary Schools games and returned with trophies and medals especially in Badminton, swimming and volleyball. Rubaga Girls’ S.S continues to transform and impact positively on the lives of the students, the neighbouring community and entire Rubaga division.
